PROHIBITED EXPORTS:

Under the laws of Ghana, the following items are prohibited exports:

1. Narcotics
2. Parrots
3. Ghanaian currency in excess of ¢5000.00
4. Round logs (12 species)
5. Rattan Canes & Bamboo
6. Obscene / Pornographic Materials
7. Goods prohibited by any other laws

CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN:

Exporters who wish to avail themselves of duty free entry into countries such as the EU, Japan, U.S., ECOWAS, etc. would have to complete the following documents prior to export of the goods:

1. EUR1 - European Union
2. GSP - U.S.A., Japan, Canada, Switzerland, etc.
3. AGOA Visa - U.S.A.
4. ETLS - ECOWAS Countries.
